Building powerful momentum for regional athletic development, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) welcomed Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Commissioner Edward Hayco during an official visit to the NCF Main Campus today, June 16, 2026.
The commissioner’s campus visit, personally hosted by NCF President Mario C. Villanueva, served as a crucial prelude to the highly anticipated launching of the Laro’t Saya sa Parke (LSP) initiative in Naga City and the landmark signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the city government and PSC.
In a strategic bid to establish the city as the primary athletic epicenter of the region, it was discussed during the executive visit—in the presence of Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) Region V President Edgar C. Balasta—that Naga City, in a dynamic partnership with NCF, is gearing up to host the 2027 Regional PRISAA Games.
This joint hosting venture between the local government unit and NCF underscores the institution’s premier sporting infrastructure and its enduring commitment to nurturing the next generation of grassroots champions and national athletes.
The campus visit concluded with a walkthrough of the institution’s leading-edge sports facilities—including the Tiger’s Health Hub and Training Pool—and a collaborative dialogue on maximizing community-based sports programs to foster civic wellness and athletic excellence across the Bicol region.
Tomorrow, June 17, PSC Chairman Patrick Gregorio is expected to follow suit with his own official visit to the NCF Main Campus to personally inspect NCF’s premier athletic facilities and solidify upcoming grassroots sports development frameworks.
