Advancing its institutional momentum in digital transformation, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF), through its Office of the Vice President for Digital Transformation (VPDT), initiated an intensive three-day Humanoid Robotics Programming Training for select faculty members and technical personnel from July 29 to 31, 2026, at the Graduate Studies Library.
The hands-on capacity-building program gathered educators from the Basic Education Department (BED), College of Computer Studies (CCS), College of Engineering (COE), alongside technical staff from the Technology Resource Center (TRC).
Establishing a solid foundation for cross-disciplinary educational technology applications, the workshop was facilitated by expert trainers from East West International Educational Specialists, Inc. (EWIES)—Engr. Darryl Johne Goyal, Mr. Von Quitchon, and Mr. Vladimer del Pilar—who guided participants through advanced programming workflows, operational control algorithms, and interactive motion sequences for NCF’s Tiger Humanoid Robots.
By equipping educators and technical teams across basic and higher education units, the initiative aims to seamlessly integrate humanoid robotics into classroom instruction, STEM curricula, and specialized laboratory learning environments.
This strengthened strategic collaboration between NCF and EWIES emphasizes the institution’s commitment to building internal technological capabilities, guaranteeing its academic community remains at the forefront of AI-driven and robotics-integrated instruction toward becoming a premier technological innovation hub in the Bicol region.
