Celebrating the pinnacle of servant leadership and institutional excellence, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) successfully hosted the prestigious MTV Service-Leadership Awards Night on June 24, 2026, at the Doña Dolores Convention Hall, Villa Caceres Hotel, Naga City, honoring a stellar roster of student leaders, organizational drivers, and change-makers.
The executive recognition rites paid tribute to exceptional graduating students who have consistently translated the core values of the institution into impactful community service, creative expression, and visionary stewardship.
Anchoring the historic evening was the presentation of the cornerstone Melchor Trinidad Villanueva (MTV) Service Leadership Award, conferred upon 283 exemplary student leaders who have demonstrated “genuine service and exemplary leadership… across various school and community activities, and for embodying the true essence of servant-leadership, thereby emulating the timeless virtues of the beloved Founder of this institution.”
The gala also featured the presentation of the highly prestigious Lourdes Estrella Peckson-Villanueva Special Award to 11 elite awardees, recognizing their “exceptional achievements in both co-curricular and extra-curricular areas, highlighting a narrative of holistic growth, profound dedication, unwavering perseverance, and a steadfast commitment to personal development while upholding academic excellence, thereby exemplifying the enduring virtues of Lourdes Estrella Peckson-Villanueva.”
Validating the institution’s multi-faceted triumph in the arts, the student press, and the athletic arena, NCF proudly conferred the Cultural Achievement Award to 10 masterful performers in the NCF Concert and Marching Band and NCF Chorale, the Campus Journalism Leadership-Service Award to 8 Kulê journalists of The Naga Collegian, and the Sports Achievement Award to 47 Tiger Champions.
Conferred in alignment with NCF’s ongoing ascent toward universityhood, these honors spotlighted the diverse, powerhouse talents of student formations and individuals who have manifested promising competence and a steadfast commitment to pioneering advocacies.
Along with the awardees, parents, stakeholders, college deans, and administrators, the event was graced by Dr. Aida P. Osea, Executive Vice President for External Linkages and Internationalization; Dr. Nora Elizabeth F. Maniquiz, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Sheila E. Balid-Bordado, Vice President for Digital Transformation; Dr. Marilyn F.
