Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) welcomed educators, administrators, and personnel from Tabaco Northwest Central School (TNWCS) for a comprehensive benchmarking and exploratory visit on September 2, 2026, at the NCF Main and Basic Education Department (BED) campuses—reaffirming the institution’s standing as a premier regional hub for digital transformation and academic excellence.
Inspired by the theme “The Road We Share: Journeying Together Toward Quality Education,” the TNWCS delegation sought to observe NCF’s institutional best practices, engage in professional dialogue, and study innovative strategies to enhance instructional delivery and learner support programs.
The visiting delegation was led by Ms. Josefa C. Clariño, School Principal III, and Mr. Jeffrey B. Sape, Faculty and Personnel Club President, together with teachers, administrative staff, non-teaching personnel, and members of the School Management Team.
The NCF executive leadership warmly received the delegation, headed by Mr. Mario C. Villanueva, NCF President, who described the visit as a two-way process of teaching and learning, while accentuating that artificial intelligence, when responsibly utilized, serves as an empowering tool rather than a threat or replacement to the human workforce.
Joining in full institutional support were key BED administrators, including Mr. Al-Noel L. Asis, Assistant Vice President for Basic Education and BED Principal; Ms. Francia B. Gomez, Assistant Principal for Senior High School; Ms. Maria Elna T. Martinez, BED Academic Supervisor; and Mr. Joward Marasigan, BED Student Affairs and Services Supervisor.
Mr. Asis guided the delegation though an immersive facility walk-throughs across campuses—from the Learning Resource Center (LRC) and Robotics and Virtual Reality Laboratory to the College of Health Sciences (CHS) laboratories, where they observed Alex, the AI-enhanced human patient simulator.
The campus tour culminated at Tanghalang Melchor and the GNN TV48 Naga Studio, where TNWCS personnel engaged in hands-on, interactive media and broadcasting simulations led by Mr. Jermyn Jacob, Director for Strategic Marketing and Communications and GNN TV48 Naga Station Manager.
Focusing on NCF’s pioneer robotics and digital learning frameworks, Mr. Brenn Yulo M. Bacus, Training and Communications Manager, led the discussion and live demonstration of the Tiger Humanoid Robots and the Tiger’s Digital Notebook project, developed in strategic partnership with East West International Educational Specialists, Inc. (EWIES) and Samsung, respectively.
As a significant outcome of the visit, NCF will be finalizing its formal commitment to assisting TNWCS in training its teachers on the Robotics program and developing a specialized curriculum for eventual rollout in TNWCS, establishing a concerted initiative to share technological advances and foster shared growth toward quality Philippine education.
