Bolstering forward-thinking ventures, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) entered its second year of providing free Tiger’s Digital Notebooks to over 3,000 college freshmen.
On July 29, the Technology Resource Center (TRC) kicked off the distribution and Sophos enrollment of the digital tablets among the freshmen students of the College of Accountancy and Finance (CAF) and College of Engineering (COE).

The distribution and enrollment of tablets continued for the remaining colleges in the following days, and were temporarily halted on August 9 in preparation for the accreditation visit.
Launched on July 26 of last year, the Tiger’s Digital Notebook is a learning tool with advanced software and a learning management system designed to empower students in their academic and professional pursuits.
NCF is investing in its pioneering technology programs to enhance the Flex50 Learning Program and expand digital transformation within the institution.

According to the administration, these initiatives aim to produce digitally-literate learners who will not face job-related issues due to a lack of digital skills, which reflects NCF’s core objectives as a rising technology hub in the region.
Moreover, the TRC is yet to announce the next schedule of release for the remaining recipients of the digital notebook.
