Mr. Ariel B. Peña, Senior Assistant Vice President of Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), was amazed at how “industrious, kind, and useful in our [DBP Naga Lending Center] operations” the five senior financial management students of the College of Accountancy and Finance (CAF) are, who are completing their 560-hour internship program, as Peña exchanged online messages with Mr. Mario C. Villanueva, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) President.

Mr. Peña lauded Mabeth M. Wasquin, Niña Kaye A. San Jose, Kessey C. Flores, Sunshine C. Aniete, and Jolly Ann M. Nieva, who have shown exceptional skills and professionalism and contributed meaningfully to the partner institution through their untiring dedication in performing their duties, which was believed to be inculcated in them by the NCean education.

“Kindly publish this on your Facebook or wherever you are posting pictures of your student trainees. They are all very industrious, kind, and useful in our operations. We are proud of them. Thanks Sir Mario for this partnership,” Peña said to President Villanueva via Messenger.

It is recalled that NCF teamed up with DBP to strengthen and expand the Work Integrated Learning program of the fourth-year financial management students of NCF by providing an environment that initiates “experience in actual office operations, augments formal trainings… that expose them to actual learning experiences.”

With an unparalleled learning environment, NCF remains committed to establishing standards for excellence and innovation in education through strategic partnerships that offer immersive learning opportunities and equip students with the skills and values to thrive in today’s dynamic world.
