Naga College Foundation Represented Bicol in National Sports Meet
Graced by no less than Her Excellency, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the country’s premier collegiate sports event unfolded at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex last February 22.
In 2004, the Commission on Higher Education held its last National Games in Bacolod City; now after six years, the ‘games’ were held anew with more than 6,000 collegiate athletes from the country’s 17 regions.Naga College Foundation was the Bicol Region’s Representative in the Taekwondo, Sepak Takraw and Athletics Events.The weeklong sportsfest was no match for our NCeans as they overcame family longing and other difficulties during their stay in Manila.Indeed they triumphed as they brought home PRIDE FOR BICOLANOS.
